Mastoidectomy

A mastoidectomy is an operation that removes the diseased air mastoid cells. The mastoid is the part of the skull below your ear. It is full of bone air cells and looks like a honeycomb. The diseased cells are often caused by an ear infection in your skull. The procedure can also be used to eliminate an abnormal growth of the cholesteatoma in the ear.

Tympanoplasty

Tympanoplasty is an operation carried out to reconstruct the eardrum( tympanic membrane) and/or the small bones of the middle ear( ossicles).

Ossiculoplasty

Ossiculoplasty is the reconstruction of the ossicular chain of the middle ear that has been disrupted or destroyed by the use of certain interposed devices that help to recover the original mechanics of the ossicular chain to transfer the sound energy to the inner ear.
